Fun and Fortitude:  The Northern Virginia Council of the Blind (NOVA) at Work

We are a group of committed individuals who are interested in improving ourselves and those around us by joining thousands of blind and visually impaired people and their sighted friends who make up the American Council of the Blind (ACB), and its state affiliate, the Old Dominion Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired (ODCBVI).

NOVA strives to improve the well-being of all blind and visually impaired people by:

·      Enjoying each others’ company at monthly meetings and beyond,

·      Sharing support, ideas, new resources, and expertise with each other to help everyone get the most out of life,

·      Working together in the local, state, and national communities to ensure the best services and the most fulfilling lives possible for our members and all blind and visually impaired people, their friends and families
